ENGAGEMENT PARTY DETAILS

All the details and steps to plan a summer engagement party!

STEPS TO PLAN:

• Decide on a date and invitation list

  • We didn’t want to wait too long after getting engaged to celebrate with all of our favorite people!

• Food and beverage

  • While dating in college Jesse and I went to Chipotle as our weekly date night. So we decided on catering Chipotle, which made it super easy. We also had mini key lime pies for dessert!

  • We paired the Chipotle with a simple margarita bar that was so fun, as well as water and sweet tea as non-alcoholic options

• Theme and colors

  • This is an important aspect to decide so each part of the party is cohesive!

• Signage

  • We had a welcome sign with florals, a photo backdrop with a balloon garland, and smaller signs at the food, beverage, and dessert tables

• Floral and decor

  • I highly recommend going to Trader Joe’s for flowers for smaller wedding events

Candlesticks: These are 10 hour burn candles, however, my hack for long lasting, no drip candlesticks are to put them in the freezer for a few hours before lighting
